Yes, I am a Banana Slug from Uncle Charlie’s Summer Camp. I had planned to Double Major in Film and Politics with the intention of creating documentaries and cerebral film. However, I soon discovered that it would be wiser for me to concentrate on hard academics since I was mostly watching movies in film classes. I received a BA in Politics with an emphasis in Political Theory & American Politics. This just marked another step in my journey through social justice and contributing to the world community. Having a scholarly interest in both the Arts and the Social Sciences not only gives my projects characteristics of beauty but also introspection.

I attended classes here for a few quarters hoping to learn what I could not at UCSC: the hands-on production process. To my dismay, I left with a hopeless view of mainstream media and a pretty big hole in my pocket. I began working unpaid Internships for over a year gaining decent experience though never landing a job in the ‘biz’. I then embarked on my freelance journey landing gigs from development to post; more often then not seeing a project from its inception to its full completion.
